| Proje Konusu | Overall objective of this project is to achieve a high level of mutual understanding, interaction and cooperation between civil society and public organizations in Turkey and in European countries while providing exchange of experiences between Turkey and EU and increasing capacity of NGOs by learning and implementing EU best practices and policies on integration of migrants. Specific objectives of the action are to establish strong, long term cooperation and endorsement of dialogue between Turkish and Belgian CSOs by exchanging best practices (methods, information and know-how) on integration of migrants; to enhance capacity of Turkish CSOs and public organizations to deal with migration related problems on the local level by transferring good practices and know-how from EU CSOs; to enhance capacity of Turkish CSOs to meet the European integration policy standards for facilitating the EU accession process; and to increase the capacity of European and Turkish civil society of working together and creating and implementing joint projects. Specific objectives: 1. To increase the capacity of European and Turkish civil societies of working together and creating joint projects. CSO staff and volunteers work in the field of migration, public organization staff work in the field of migration in Istanbul (Zeytinburnu in particular) and in Belgium (Liege, Huy, Verviers, Mans, Schaerbeek specifically) are target groups of the project.CSOs are the main actors in the project and public organizations were included to foster the structure of the project and increase the effectiveness. Several representatives from CSOs and public organizations were discussed about to the design of the project in most beneficial way. Target group(s): CSO staff and volunteers work in the field of migration, public organization staff work in the field of migration in Istanbul and Belgium.University staff and students work on integration. |
