| Türkçe Özet | Bu araştırmanın amacı, ilköğretim okul yöneticilerinin görüşleri doğrultusunda eğitim kavramını çözümlemek ve bundan yola çıkarak okul yöneticilerinin okuldaki uygulamalarında temel aldıkları eğitim anlayışını ortaya çıkarabilmektir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yaklaşımı esas alınmış, Kastamonu ili Merkez ilçede bulunan 20 kamu ilköğretim okulunda görev yapan okul yöneticilerinden çalışma grubu oluşturulmuştur. Araştırmada veriler yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme yöntemiyle toplanmış, görüşme soruları araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulmuş ve araştırma kapsamında 20 okul yöneticisiyle yüz yüze görüşme yapılmıştır. Görüşme yoluyla elde edilen veriler, bilgisayar ortamında metne dönüştürülmüş, dönüştürülen metin, betimsel analiz yoluyla çözümlenmiştir.Araştırma bulgularından elde edilen sonuçlara göre, okul yöneticileri eğitimi, toplumun varlığını sürdürmesi için bireyin ?terbiye edilmesini, şekillendirilmesini? sağlayan önemli bir hizmet alanı olarak görmektedir. Eğitimin temel amacı bireyin özgürleşmesini, yetkinleşmesini sağlayan bir eylem iken okul yöneticilerine göre eğitimin amacı, ?vatanını, milletini seven iyi vatandaş? yetiştirmektir. Yöneticilere göre bireyin içinde doğduğu toplumun sahip olduğu inanç, tutum ve değerlerin kazandırılması anayasal bir zorunluluktur ve bu zorunluluk eğitimle sağlanmaktadır. Araştırmada okul yöneticilerinin müfredat ve yönetmeliklerin dışına çıkamadıkları, mevcut sistemi sürdürme ve yeniden üretmede temel bir rol oynadıkları görülmüştür. |
| İlgilizce Özet | The aim of this study is to analyze the concept of education in accordance with the views of the primary school administrators and by this way, to introduce the sense of education that the school administrators base during their implementation. Qualitative research methods have been used at this research. The sample is made up of 20 primary school administrators serving in the center of Kastamonu. The interview questions have been developed by the researcher and data have been collected with semi-structured interview method via interviewing 20 school administrators. The data collected via the interview have been converted into text in computer and have been analyzed through descriptive analysis.According to the research findings, school administrators consider the education as an important service area which provides to discipline and train the individuals for the community to carry on its existence. While the aim of the education is an action providing the individuals to liberalize and become qualified, the aim of the education is ?to educate citizens who love their country and nation? according to the school administartors . According to the school administrators, It is a constitutional requirement to give the individuals the beliefs, attitudes and values of the community and it is provided through education. At this research, it has been seen that the school administrators can?t go beyond the curriculum and the regulations and it has also been seen that they have a basic role at the regeneration period. |
