Özet |
Pyrimidine derivatives show various interesting pharmacological properties including antiviral, antiparasitic, antibacterial and antitumor effects. Some of them are frequently encountered in many drugs used for the treatment of hypothyroidy, hypertension, cancer chemotherapy or HIV infection [1-2]. Recently, the reactions of 1-aminopyrimidine derivatives with several anhydrides, isocyanates and isothiocyanates have been reported [3]. We are now reporting the reaction mechanism, synthesis and characterization of novel 2-oxopyrimidin-1 (2H)-yl-amides by the reaction of the 1-aminopyrimidine-2 (1H)-one/-thione derivatives with the corresponding some acide chlorides.
