| Introduction Wheat is the most important grain crop grown in Turkey providing greatest part of the daily nutritional requirements. NAC proteins form one of the widests families of plant specific transcription factors. Members of this family are rclcated with development, defence and abiotic stress responses. TQN/(C69-I gene is the member of this family. In this study, the gene encoding TaNAC69-1’from Trr'tr'ciim oestivrim. Yiircfgir 89, was cloned and transferred into Impact vector 1.1. Then. wheat inflorencence explants were trattstbrntctl with this plasmid via particle bombardment. Tr-plants were characterized by some molecular techniques. |
