Student views on moodle supported information technologies course

Özet
This study was carried out to analyze and determine the student experiences during the execution of the Information Technology course. A total of 54 students from Kastamonu University 2nd-year students from two cohorts taking the Computer II course participated in the study. The application was carried out for a total of 8 weeks. Moodle LMS was used in terms of course contents and processing. It is presented in a mobile compatible design at https://moodle. muratmericelli. com. The Google Slides Content of the course content is made available to students every week. Each week, ten-question quizzes were applied. The application assignment or discussion forum was carried out following the content structure of the week. Qualitative data were obtained by taking the written opinions of the students at the end of the application. Positive opinions in the application of the course; In-class activities, outside-class activities, general situations of the lesson, and elements of the instructor were included in the categories. The problems during the application are collected in the categories of time is too long, details are boring, absent, theoretical issues are boring and a lot of homework is given. The contribution of the application to computer literacy; The form of contribution is in the categories of tools and quality. It is thought that the findings obtained will guide the design of information technologies courses.
