| Özet |
| In this study, indoor radon levels have been carried out using CR-39 diffusion type passive radon track detectors in Trabzon in Eastern Black sea of Turkey. Indoor radon concentrations have been determined 97 randomly chosen dwellings for 3 months at summer and winter seasons. There is no information about indoor radon concentrations at summer and winter seasons in the dwellings of Trabzon so far. For summer and winter seasons, the average radon concentrations were found to be 60 Bq/m3 and 201 Bq/m3. The annual effective dose equivalents from indoor radon activity varied from 0.40 mSv/y to 14.03 mSv/y and average value was found to be 3.29 mSv/y. The result have been compared with other indoor radon concentration measurements in different part of the world and international recommended values. |
