| Özet |
| A Holstein calf with a history of poor faecal excretion was presented with abdominal pain. Intestinal obstruction was suspected based on clinical and radiological findings at the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Surgery in Bursa Turkey and a ventral paramedian exploratory laparotomy was performed. Exploration of the abdominal cavity revealed "volvulus of the distal jejunum and ileum and torsion of the mesentery" in the small intestine, and were corrected. The calf recovered very well. |
