| Taşköprü must be remembered when the garlic of Kastamonu is mentioned. Because Taşköprü has been growing about 90% of the total garlic grown in Kastamonu yearly. In Taşköprü, where the mainstays are limited, garlic agriculture has helped to hold the country population in the region since it has required a large amount of agricultural human force. The garlic of Kastamonu is among the most important species with its quality, aroma and durability in our country. But this garlic must be introduced to domestic and foreign markets. Because of this The Garlic Festival has been organized in Taşköprü. |
