Özet
The purpose of this study is to analyze whether or not emotional labour level has an effect on stress level and intention to quit and whether or not stress has a moderating effect on the effect of emotional labour on intention to quit. The data that has been gathered from 428 nurses from public hospitals and 239 nurses from private hospitals in Gaziantep, analzed by using exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis as well as correlation and reliability analyses with structural equality model. According to the results, superficial role playing impacts stress and intention to quit and natural emotions and stress effects intention to quit as well as the fact that stress has a regulatory role on the effect of superficial role playing on intention to quit. We believe that the data of stress effect,, as a regulatory role, will contribute to the literature.
