Özet
This research focuses on the effects of the ethical leadership behaviours of the
managers in the hotel businesses on the organizational citizenship behaviour of the
employees. The aim of the study is to determine whether the ethical leadership
behaviors of the managers are effective on the OCB of the employees. For this purpose, data were collected from 40 employees in hotel businesses operating in
Kastamonu and Sinop provinces by asking written questions (online questionnaire).
The questionnaire applied in the research consists of 41 questions, 5 questions about
the demographic characteristics of the employees, 17 questions about the ethical
leadership scale and 19 questions about the organizational citizenship behavior scale.
Regression analysis was used to test the hypotheses determined within the scope of
the research. According to the results of the research, it was seen that ethical
leadership has a positive and significant effect on altruism, conscientiousness,
courtesy and civic virtue dimensions, but it does not have a significant effect on the
sportsmanship dimension.
