Özet |
At the current time, the constant development and changes of technology have resulted in many advantages for businesses. Accordingly, adapting to technological innovations has become a necessity for a large number of businesses. Computers and the quick changes in technology have been requiring the learning of these technologies and more effort for employees. Technostress is a disease in work places that occurs due to difficultly in learning and adapting technological resources. The aim of this study is to determine the demographic characteristics (gender, marital status, age, education, status, total service time, service time in the workplace), regarding technostress. The sample of the study includes informations from 274 bank employees working in public and private banks in the center of Kastamonu province. The research data were collected by survey method. The “Technostress Scale” used in the study. Factor analysis was applied for construct reality and Cronbach Alpha internal consistency coefficient was used for reliability analysis. Besides the differences between managerial employees in managerial positions t-test and analysis of variance were used in the evaluation. In accordance with the research findings, length of service, service time in the workplace. Research findings also show that the levels of intensity of technostress for exposed to technology are the same even though their demographic characteristics are different from each other. |
