Özet
Climate types, quite different from each other, prevail across Turkey, and accordingly, there is a wide variety of species in forested areas (Atalay and Efe 2015). However, they enable us to study domestic and foreign species together in afforestation studies. Thus, the opportunities to establish healthy forest stands are increasing in terms of both quality and quantity. In afforestation studies, it is necessary to select appropriate species of the appropriate origin, to follow the principles of improvement studies, and to pay attention to afforestation techniques. For this purpose, the selection of seed sources with high hereditary qualities and the improvement studies used are of great importance
