Özet
The relationship with plants has emerged when people use plants as a source of food. Besides the using of the plants as food supply, plants have become more of an issue such as medicinal, aromatic, animal feed, paint, cosmetic, and aesthetic. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), around 20.000 plant species has been used by more than half of the World population for the aim of the treatment or cure. Also, our country embodies lots of valuable plants in line with diversity of the plant species in terms of ethno-botany. However, these methods have faced to be forgotten owing to urbanization. For this purpose, these traditional methods which are thought to be basis of the many synthetic drugs need to be documented. In this study, in the Kastamonu province-Taşköprü district, we will focus on doing surveys to have knowledge about which plants have been used naturally by local community from past to present, forms of their utilization.
