| In this study, some reproduction characteristics of inci kefali (C tarichi) were observed. The study were conducted between April 1994-August 1995 and totally 996 individuals sampled. Fork lengths, body and gonad weights were measured, sexes determined, eggs counted and age determined by using opercular bones. Gonadosomatik index (GSI), sex ratio, Fecundity, Fecundity-length-weight and age relations were calculated. Seconder sex differences, morph 3gic development of gonads, spawning sites and time, hatching period and larval development were observed.The individuals attained to sexual maturity in age III Sex ratio (male: female) was calculated as 1: 1 in the Karasu River and 1: 1.8 in Lake Van (PO. 05).
