Özet |
In this study, some physical properties of polypropylene nanocomposites reinforced with nano TiO2 were investigated To meet this objective, The nano TiO2 was compounded with polypropylene with coupling agent in a twin screw co-rotating extruder and then the compounds were injection molded into the test specimens using an injection molding machine. The water absorption and thickness swelling properties of WPNs improved with increasing nano TiO2 content. The use of maleic anhydride polypropylene had a positive effect on the pysical properties of the polypropylene nanocomposites reinforced with nano TiO2. This work showed that the composites reinforced with nano TiO2 could be efficiently used as decking products, due to satisfactory physical properties of the nanocomposites. |
