Özet
The aim of this study is to investigate teacher candidates’ social network usage tendencies and to identify what sort of social and educational activities they realized in these networks. The research was carried out five teacher candidates who were attended at various departments of Ankara University, Faculty of Educational Sciences. The research was conducted with a qualitative pattern. Data was collected via two-hour focus group interviews. The data were analysed through content analysis. The results indicated that the most useful social network according to the teacher candidates is Facebook. And teacher candidates stated that they use the social networks for fun, sharing, social responsibility and educational purposes as well as communications.
