Özet |
This study examines the effects of advanced organizers and postorganizers presented on computer as means for improving Primary-Grade students' comprehension of science concepts. A concept chain on computer about as a self-study tool. It was made use of a quasi-experimental method, assigning one class to pre-organizer experimental group and one class to post-organizer group. Pre organizer group consisted of forty students (n= 40 with 15 girls, 25 boys) and post organizer group consisted of thirty eight students (n= 38 with 17 girls and 21 boys). The students were pretested to get information about their prior knowledge on The Moves of Earth, Moon and Sun, firstly. Then the two groups were posted. The instruction design, all tests and concept chain material which were presented were same for the two groups, except the presentation order of the materials.
