| Özet |
| The aim of this research is to determine the global social responsibility levels of social studies prospective teachers. It is thought that as a result of determining the global social responsibility levels of social studies prospective teachers, it can be a guide for what changes can be made in the program. As a research model, mixed method was used in this study. In this study, descriptive survey model was used as a quantitative research method. In the qualitative part of the study, a case study was used. While the data collection tools were applied to 182 participants in the quantitative research part, it was applied to 20 participants in the qualitative part. Data for the quantitative part of the research were collected with the" Global Social Responsibility Scale" developed by Başer and Kılınç (2015). The scale was applied by the researchers to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year social studies prospective teachers in the spring term of the 2020-2021 academic year. The Global Social Responsibility Scale consists of 30 items. The scale developed in a 5-point Likert type has four sub-dimensions: action-oriented responsibility, ecological responsibility, altruistic responsibility, and national responsibility. The data obtained from the participants of the research were analyzed using the SPSS 25.0 statistical package program. In the qualitative part of the research, the data were analyzed with descriptive analysis.
