Özet |
In this study, the effect on the academic achievements of students and the permanence of learning of teaching according to 7E learning model based on the constructivist approach of “Algebraic Expressions and Identities” was investigated, and the students' opinions were also included. The research was carried out with 50 students studying in the 8th grade of a state school in the center of a province in the Western Black Sea region in the fall semester of 2018-2019 academic year. There are 25 students in each of the randomly determined experimental and control groups. In the study, the quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test control groups was used.“Algebraic Expressions and Identities Achievement Test” and “Semi-Structured Opinion Questions” were used as data collection tools. According to the results of statistical analysis, it was observed that the teaching of “Algebraic Expressions and Identities” with the 7E learning model made a significant contribution to the academic achievement of the students and the permanence of the learning was affected positively. In addition, it was concluded that the lessons taught with the support of 7E learning model activities increased the motivation of the students, and they were more active in these lessons, and they found the lessons fun and interesting. |
