Özet |
The study consists of an introduction and five chapters. In the introduction, the history of phonetics, the differences between phonetics and phonology and Information about phonetics and its sub-disciplines is given. In the first chapter, the first phonetic studies known in Arabs, the scope and content of these studies, the names of those who carried out the studies, language and grammar, dictionary, literature and rhetoric are discussed by associating them with various fields.In the second part, the studies evaluated in the context of modern phonetics in Arabs are included. Since these studies are aimed to show the change in the method of examining the sounds of Standard Arabic in the modern process, they are listed chronologically from the past to the present by considering the dates of the works written by the names who carried out the study.In the third chapter, what the sounds of Standard Arabic are, how they are grouped in terms of their functions in syllable formation, what kind of criteria are used to determine their qualitative and quantitative features, are examined comparatively from classical to modern based on the data of the first and second parts. The fourth chapter includes the information about syllable, syllable structure and syllable types in Standard Arabic obtained by using modern phonetic findings. In the fifth chapter, the sounds of Standard Arabic are examined by considering the changes that the sounds that come together in grammatical unity undergo due to some structural or semantic reasons. |
