Özet
Forest workers are needed in many forest management facilities in Turkey. They have many heavy duties to carry out. For example, cutting, bucking and classification, extraction, loading, transporting, unloading, road construction, repairment, upkeep works, nursery, afforestation and reforestation, processing, tending and forest protection (fire, insecticide, fungus) and others. In order to achieve these duties, they have to use chainsaw. When the chain saws are used they give out some toxic gases, they vibrate, and also they are so noisy. The impacts of these factors on the forest workers have been received an attraction in many studies. In this present study, some of these studies will be reviewed and the results will be discussed with the conditions in Turkey.
