Özet |
The advanced technologies have been extensively used in the majority study areas of forestry. The usage of satellite images is one of them and they are used for inventory, planning, controlling and the other purposes in forestry. However, it is also known that the satellite images can serve for planning the forest road network. With the help of the developed model and using satellite images, the constructions impact area formed by the rolling of the filling material and filling area of the forest roads can be predetermined in the planning stage. Therefore, by using remotely sensed data in forest road planning, area lost of forest as a live ecosystem and environmental damage will be minimized.
