The Effects of Focus of Control and the Self-Esteem of the Teachers and the Administrators of Schools on Risk-Taking, and, Tendencies

Özet
The objective of this study is the examination of the effects of self-esteem, the focus of control and the demographic features on the risk-taking and tendencies. For thiş purpose, 949 teachers and 104 administrators of schools in Kastamonu and its districts were applied surveys but only 650 of these surveys vvere obtained and the Sil of those 650 were taken into consideration. The data obtained vvas tested through the application of SPSS (11.00) statistical program, According to the data obtained, it has been found out that the sex, status, age and the period af the service are effective on the risk-taking, in the similar vvay, the sex, status, age and the period of the service are effective on the focus of control. A mutuâl relationship was found behveen the riskrtaking and risk tendencies and mutual relationship vvas found between the risk-taking and focus of control.
