Throughout the history of jewelry making, many techniques have been developed, some of which have retained their popularity while others have been forgotten. One of the techniques that lost popularity over time is the enameling technique. Enamel is a material that shows all the features of glass but is more flexible and easier to work with than glass. Because the enameling technique has been used frequently since ancient times, there are many sub-techniques in this field. One of these techniques is the Basse-taille technique. This technique involves engraving metal surfaces and applying transparent enamel and can be done using either wet or dry enamelling. This study aims to introduce the Basse-taille technique to practitioners and interested parties and to describe the product development process with a detailed description of the application steps. In the product development process, a necklace pendant was selected from among the types of jewelry, and the technical steps were applied in detail.
