Özet
This study investigates the effect of soil and material characteristics on seismic behavior of structures. The following soil parameters: shear strength, unit weight, friction angle; geometry parameters of the structure: foundation depth and height; and material properties: weight of concrete were selected as input parameters. The soil-structure interaction model subjected to an earthquake was analysed using a FEM-based software PLAXIS. The effect of input parameters on factor of safety and relative displacements occuring on the structure were investigated. The factor of safety results were also obtained for 729 case studies. The interaction of all parameters were obtained and presented graphically. The outcomes of the study were found to be consistent with fındings in the literature.
