| Özet |
| Trigonella L. is a large genus with close to 135 species belonging to the family Leguminosae (Syn: Fabaceae) and is distributed in the dry regions around Mediterranean, W. Asia, Europe, North and South Africa, N. America and S. Australia (Townsend and Guest, 1974; Mabberly, 1997). Twenty three are recorded in Europe, 35 in the former USSR, 25 in Iran, 18 in Iraq, 3 in N. America and 2 in Australia (Komarov et al., 1945; Tutin and Heywood, 1964; Davis, 1970; Townsed and Guest, 1974; Anzalone et al., 1982; Zohary, 1987).
