Özet |
In Ottoman literature the tradition of tadhkira writing began from the 16th century onwards with the influence of Herat tadhkira school. In the 16th century Garibi, Sehi Bey, Latifi, Ashiq Chelebi, Qinali-zadeh Hasan Chelebi and Beyani, and in the 17th century Riyazi, Qaf-zadeh Faizi, Riza Zehrimarzadeh, Asim and Yumni wrote tadhkiras, which were devoted to the life and creations of poets and included some examples from their poetry. Until the beginning of the 20th century, more than 30 works in this genre appeared in Ottoman literature. The majority of these works is well-known in the scientific world and have been studied in depth. But in the Tabriz manuscript of Sadiqi’s collection there is a unique tadhkira, which has not been the subject of scientific critique until today. Here we found information about 138 poets, who lived and wrote in the Ottoman Empire in the 16th and 17th centuries. This tadhkira, the author of which is unknown, has an anthological character and is both similar to and different from other Ottoman works of such type. |
