| This study is all whole researching of Köroğlu Newspaper which had been published between 1908-1918 of Kastamonu. The Newspaper is also official publishing organ of `İttihat ve Terakki`. Thus, it has been aimed to point out role of the Köroğlu Newspaper in the press history and activities of Association of `ittihat ve Terakki` in Kastamonu. Köroğlu Newspaper is the first private gazette of Kastamonu province. It has also been established as publishing organ of `İttihat ve Terakki` Kastamonu Office. In this study, news and articles within Köroğlu Newspaper have been evaluated by classifying by their topics. The study comprise of four sections. Newspapers and magazines which were published in Kastamonu during `Meşrutiyet IP period, domestic and foreign political development which had been published in Köroğlu Newspaper as well as biographies of the newspaper's authors. In this study have mostly been evaluated social, political, economical and educational ideas. With evaluation process place of the Köroğlu Newspaper in Kastamonu's press life and activities of `İttihat ve Terakki`. By means of this study, it is also attempted to determine intellectual, political, economical and social status in Kastamonu province during `Meşrutiyet II` period (1908-1918). |
