Özet |
The Gümüșhane-Torul Dam watershed (Turkey) is separated into five matching watersheds in terms of the parent material, land use, slope and aspect, and five model watersheds were selected to represent each watershed group. A model was used to estimate the soil losses using the Water Erosion Protection Project from different land uses. Based from the model, the total soil losses from the forest, pasture and agricultural lands were 10494.04, 12630.18 and 10108.18 tonnes/year, respectively. The model watershed was used in creating plans to prevent sediment transport and for cost planning. Economic analysis of the watershed project showed that the use/expense ratio was 12.12, suggesting that the project is feasible and economical. |
