Comparison of the attitudes of students who take gender lessons and those who do not, towards LGBTI individuals. Methods This descriptive and cross-sectional study was conducted with Nursing Students between 10.11. 2021 and 02.01. 2022. Sample selection was not made in the study, and 183 students willing to participate in the study were included in the study. Introductory Information Form and attitude scale towards LGBTI individuals were used to collect data. Descriptive statistics methods, Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal-Wallis test were used in the evaluation of the data. Results A significant correlation was found between the sub-dimension and total scores of the students' attitudes towards LGBTI individuals who participated in the study and being male (p=. 000). When the total score of the attitude scale towards LGBTI individuals and the cut-off values of the sub-dimension scores of the students who took and did not take the Gender course were examined, the cut-off value for the sub-dimension marginalization was 1.055; The overshoot sub-dimension cut-off value is 1.80; Disease sub-dimension cut-off value was 1.50; The cut-off value of the LGBTI attitude scale was found to be 1.25. Since the items in the scale consist of negative statements, a low score in the sub-dimensions or in total indicates a positive attitude. According to this, it can be said that there is no significant difference between the students who take the course and those who do not, and the attitudes of the students towards LGBTI individuals are positive.
