Özet
In this research, the major effects of addition of different kinds of phosphate binders such as sodium haxameta phosphate, sodium tri-poly phosphate and calcium mono phosphate on the properties and microstructure of magnesia coating refractories were studied. At first some samples with constant formulation and different binder types were prepared and then various physical and mechanical tests such as PLC, bulk density, apparent porosity and cold crushing strength were done. Finally microstructural and phase changes of the samples were analyzed. The results showed that with using the combination of sodium hexa-meta phosphate and sodium tri-polyphosphate, the lining showed better properties as density, porosity, permanent linear changes and cold crushing strength. Also the proper formulations and phosphate binders for these applications were introduced in this research.
