Özet
A mathematical model is presented to investigate the dynamics of a prestressed piezoelectric plate-strip resting on a rigid foundation, under the action of a timeharmonic force, utilizing the three-dimensional linearized theory of electro-elastic waves in initially stressed bodies. The governing equations of motion are solved by employing the finite element method, and numerical results illustrating the relations between different problem parameters are investigated. In particular, we show that the initial tension of the plate-strip prevents its resonance, but the compression force passes after the corresponding resonance mode.
