| Jacobsthal (Jc) and Jacobsthal-Lucas (JcL) numbers form well-known integer sequences. These numbers satisfy the following second-order recurrence relation. 𝐴𝑛= 𝐴𝑛− 1+ 2𝐴𝑛− 2.The difference between the definitions of these two sequences is the initial conditions. The first two terms of Jc numbers are 𝐽0= 0 and 𝐽1= 1, whereas the first two terms of JcL numbers are 𝑗0= 2 and 𝑗1= 1. Binet-like formulas for Jc and JcL numbers are, respectively, |
