Özet |
Urban areas are mosaics of diverse spatial patterns. Organisms built structures, and the physical environment interact. Flows and movements through the mosaic create a dynamic system. Built structures are a key to urban ecology. Architecture, housing, and transportation emphasize people–built structure interactions (Forman, 2014). Being respectful of human beings and nature, and not damaging the habitat of living organisms form the foundational principle of sustainable and ecological architecture. Following this principle, enabling the minimum amount of energy consumption is discussed, starting with the planning stage and continuing during the construction, operation, and disposal stages of the building process. |
