Özet
A ccording to the World Health Organization (WHO), infertility is defined as the inability to conceive a child for twelve months or longer, during which male and female sexual activity is unrestricted. Infertility is a significant health problem worldwide, affecting approximately 1/10 of couples who can have children (3, 8). Infertility is influenced by several factors, including age, biological variables, body mass index (BMI), diet, tobacco use, alcohol use, caffeine intake, stress, lifestyle choices, physical activity, systemic disorders, sperm quality, endocrine-disrupting chemicals, and sociocultural influences (37, 52).The endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress is an inherent sensitivity to unfavorable external situations, often eliciting inflammatory responses via several pathways to preserve homeostasis or exacerbate inflammatory disorders. The aggregation of unfolded or misfolded proteins within the ER lumen results from a disparity between the protein load and the ER’s folding capacity, referred to as ER stress (9, 41, 42, 56). The literature does not contain any research on the role of chaperones that are formed due to ER stress. Chaperones that the potential of these proteins as specific biomarkers in male infertility still depend on being explored. Current research primarily examines the overarching biological impacts of ER stress without specialized inquiry into its influence on male reproductive health. The attraction to employing ER stress-induced chaperone proteins as indicators occurs from their ability to provide information
