Özet
As a result, TFW treated with 30% Cu loaded acetic acid was burned at 300oC burning temperature for 60 minutes and the most active catalyst was synthesized. The synthesized catalysts were analysed with SEM-EDX, XRD and FTIR characterizations. FTIR analysis: Fig. 1 shows FTIR spectra of TFW catalyst treated with acetic acid loaded with Cu and pure TFW. Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) analysis was applied in the wavelength range of 450-4000 (cm)-1 in order to comparatively analyse the chemical bonds in the structure of the samples. Spectra were interpreted by using the available literature data. It shows the peak hydroxyl group (-OH) seen at 3676.2 (cm)-1 in the FTIR spectrum of tea factory waste catalyst treated with 30% Cu loaded acetic acid (Fig. 1b). This peak is not seen in Fig. 1a. Strong peaks seen in the chemical structure of pure TFW in the range of about 2000-3000 (cm)-1 represent the CH groups. These peaks are stronger in the Tea Factory Waste-Cu catalyst.
