| Fast developing technology brings with it the quest for the use of new materials and techniques. These quests are seen as an important issue in terms of not only creating qualified industrial product but also artistic and aesthetic concern through the form.As it is known, clay, glaze, slip, oxides and pigments in ceramic production are standardized materials either industrial or artistic field. Necessity of extend across of ceramic production standards all over the world originates from the technical and aesthetic features desired on product. In this regard, it can be ranged necessities on ceramic bodies such as aesthetic and visual effects on the surface along with lightness of the structure, strength, water absorption, availability of shaping possibilities. Among the reasons of choosing additives on industrial and artistic field it can be said low cost account, recycling of wastes and technical benefits on product, providing convenience for shaping, having stronger and lighter forms and also pores by burning or texture by hardening on the surface. |
