Özet |
Open-green spaces are one of the most important factors that ensure a livable environment, high quality of life and healthy city formation in today's rapid urbanization. In cities, it has a role that provides the balance of massemptiness, brings people closer to nature, and provides ecological, economic, physical, psychological and social benefits to their environment. In this context, the present green area distribution of light green areas in Beylikdüzü district of Istanbul was investigated. Within the scope of the research, literature studies related to the study area and light green areas were made and the changes of green areas in the historical process were examined. Then, the amount of green area per capita for each neighborhood in Beylikdüzü district was handled according to the Regulation on Planning Principles of the Development Law of town planning. The amount of green space in the relevant regulation; children playgrounds, neighborhood and district parks, urban parks and sports fields. In this context, the amount of open and green areas per person in Beylikdüzü was calculated as 2.94 people/m2 and evaluated according to the provisions of the Law of town planning. Depending on the data obtained, needs were identified and recommendations were made. |
