Özet
The trans port be hav ior of Hg2+ from do nor aque ous so lu tion into a re ceiv ing aque ous solu tion through bulk and sup ported liq uid mem branes con tain ing a calix [4] arene de riv ative 1 as a car rier was in ves ti gated. The ki netic pa ram e ters of bulk liq uid mem brane were an a lyzed as sum ing two con sec u tive, ir re vers ible first-or der re ac tions. The in flu ence of tem per a ture, stir ring rate, car rier con cen tra tion and sol vent on the ki netic pa ram e ters (k1, k2, Rm axm, tmax, Jd axm, Ja axm) has also been in ves ti gated. The ac ti va tion en ergy val ues are cal cu lated as 13.4 and 1.41 kcal mol–1 for ex trac tion and reextraction, re spec tively. The ac ti va tion en ergy val ues in di cate that the pro cess is diffusionally con trolled by species. In ad di tion, the trans port be hav ior of Hg2+ from aque ous so lu tion through a flat-sheet sup ported liq uid mem brane has been in ves ti gated by the use of calix [4] arene de riv a tive 1 as car rier and Celgard 2500 as the solid sup port. A Danesi mass trans fer model was used to cal cu late the per me abil ity co ef fi cients for each pa ram e ter (type of solvent and an ion).
