Özet
Electric vehicles are entering our daily lives more and more every day. As a result of this, research for easier charging of vehicles and reducing the negative effects of charging systems on the grid and innovations in this direction have gained momentum. In this study, wireless charging system was designed employing a power factor correcting SEPIC converter having average current control for electric vehicles. Higher power quality with practical charging system design compared to traditional charging systems has been created and simulated with Matlab/Simulink. Since charging systems contain many semiconductor circuit elements, they can cause harmonic distortions. The power factor corrector structure reduced the harmonic distortion level and ensures higher power factor.
