Özet
Turkey is a rich country due to both plant biodiversity and endemism compared to European countries. In this study, therefore, the relationships between the morphological and anatomical properties of Kazdağı fir, one of the most important endemic species of Turkey, at two different altitudes (average 1200 m and 1600 m) were investigated comparatively. Morphological and anatomical properties of a total of 200 trees, aged 30-40 years on average, were determined from each elevation step. Among the morphological characters, the diameter values of the tree at height and breast height and the annual ring width and anatomical characteristics values on the discs extracted from the breast height were determined. For anatomical properties, tracheid length and width, tracheid cell wall thickness, tracheid lumen width, height and width of the rays and the number of rays per 1 mm were calculated.
