Özet |
Companies need to be more international than ever before and they try to enlarge their operations towards wider geographical areas. The continuation of operations in different countries due to the nature of international companies reveals complex organizational structures. This situation also brings with it migration of company employees to other countries as a usual human resource policy. But, going and and working in a new country requires to understand a new country culture and to introduce with a new working atmosphere. Therefore, this type of a migration is concluded with acculturation. Although migration is always in human life, new migration waves and migration reasons are following each other. In this context, in the study, movement of employees in international companies is discussed in terms of migration and acculturation. A conceptual review is made in the study and suggestions are presented for companies to support them for preparing an ideal environment for the acculturation process of their employees. |
