Özet
The complexation of pervanadyl ion (VO2 +) with glycine (Gly) has been investigated by spectrophotometric measurements in a mixed solvent system of ethanol + water at an ionic strength of 0.2 mol/dm 3 of sodium perchlorate at 25 ± 0.1°C in the pH range of 1.5 to 3.0 with a high ratio of the ligand to metal. The stability constant of the formed complex is given. A linear relationship with a minimum point is observed when log K is plotted versus 1/D, where K and D represent the stability and dielectric constant of the system, respectively. The results are discussed in terms of the effect of the solvent on protonation and complexation. Copyright © 2005 by Monajjemi, Moniri, Azizi, Ahmad panahi.
