The electrical properties and band structure study of (7, 0)at(14, 0) double wall zinc oxide nanotubes (DWZnONTs)

Özet
A double-walled Zinc Oxide nanotube (7, 0)@(14, 0) is used for a theoretic study of a di-cylindrical molecule, including an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder. In this work the optimized structure and the schematic supercell of the (7, 0)@(14, 0) DWZnONTs are calculated for exhibiting the electrical properties of DWZnONTs. The structure parameters of the optimized (7, 0) and (14, 0) SWZONT have been done. The optimized diameter of the (7, 0) SWZONT is 7.37 Å and the optimized diameter of the (14, 0) SWZONT is 14.65 Å and the average Zn-O bond length in the optimized SWZONT is 1.88 Å, which is shorter than the bond length of 1.98 Å in wurtzite ZnO crystal.
