| Özet |
| The purpose of the study is to investigate the situations of teachers to perform laboratory practice in science lessons by means of the theory of planned behavior. In this study, descriptive analysis technique was used. Sample study group consisted of 37 science and primary education teachers in Kastamonu. Semi-structured interviews, which are prepared in accordance with the three basic dimensions of the theory of planned behavior, were used in the study. The interviews were transcribed and the content was analyzed in three categories according to the dimensions of TPB. As a result of the study, it was clear that teachers are aware of the importance of laboratory practice in science lessons, and if they perform laboratory practice they achieve benefit, on the other hand they face difficulties while performing it. |
