| Özet |
| Values are judgments that are accepted by the majority of communities and contain common attitudes. It is known that Social Studies course has an important role in teaching values. The use of literary products in Social Studies class will contribute to the teaching of values. For this reason, in this research, it is aimed to determine the opinions of teachers about the use of literary products in the teaching of values in social studies course. Survey data were obtained by applying a semi-structured interview form to 20 volunteer Social Studies teachers working in the central province of Kastamonu province during the 2015-2016 academic year. The obtained data were analyzed through descriptive analysis. Social Studies teachers in the study pointed out the importance of using literary products in social studies classes as facilitating the transfer of values, increasing the permanence of information, teaching cultural items and increasing the interest of students in the course. Social Studies Teachers use the literary products in their Social Studies lessons and use them in their lessons in order to convey the values of memories, jokes, proverbs, novels, travelnames, epics, speeches, speeches, poems and reasons of using these literary products, transfer historical subjects, As reinforcement of the learners. |
