The aim of this study is to find out which technological tools are used by the classroomand social studies teachers in primary and secondary schools within the project-based learningapproach and to identify the problems they encounter during the applications of the project. In this study, semi-structured interviews, one of the qualitative research methods, wasused as a data collection method. Three questions were asked to the participants and the datawere analyzed through code-based content analysis. According to the results, the technologicaltools most preferred by the teachers for project-based learning were computers, projec-tors,the Internet and videos. It is also observed that the teachers associated their technologi-cal toolpreferences with the convenience, the accessibility, the low cost of these tools as well as withthe opportunities they provided for learning through experience. The most common challengefaced by the teachers was the high cost of the tools. One of the primary solution suggestionsby the teachers for the problems they encountered was that the teacher should be a good guidein this process. |
