Özet
Teaching practice is very important course in terms of becoming a teacher for teachercandidates. In achieve the course objective that teacher candidates’ expectations and theirproblems in process of practising are crucial factor. In this study, it was aimed to try to expressthe views of teacher candidates who studying in Preschool Teaching Program in Faculty ofEducation, Kastamonu University, 4th grade in the school year of 2015-2016 concerningTeaching Practice II. In this study, using the semi-structured interview technique which is among the qualitative data collection techniques, gathered the data. The researchers prepared4 semi-structured interview questions to be addressed to 4th grade teacher candidates. Thefindings were deciphered with using descriptive analysis. teacher candidates generally statedthat Teaching Practice II contributed to them; giving to opportunity to application-practice,to gaining experience about teaching profession.Expectations of teacher candidates regardingto Teaching Practice II were that they want to more practicing and demonstrators should berole model to them and the course prepare them to teaching profession.Teacher candidatesencountered some problems in Teaching Practice II. These are; demonstrators do not treateda teacher to them andchildren do not recognize them as an authority.Demonstrators giveunnecessary errands and whole control of classroom to teacher candidates. Therefore theygive some solution that demonstrators will be informed with meeting before practice andadvisors in universities should explain that what teacher candidates to do in practising schoolto demonstrators.
