Özet
In the study, effects of tetra (Cotinus coggygria) and laurel (Laurus nobilis) on growth rate (SGR), feed conversion ratio (FCR) and survival of cultured rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) were evaluated. Rainbow trout juvenile with average weight of 66.13±0.94 g were fed with five different experimental diet including control group, 1% and 1.5% tetra and 1% and 1.5% laurel during 8 weeks. The study was conducted in 15 replicated flow through raceway systems in triplicate. The quantity was 5800 for each group's raceways. At the end of the study, there were no significant differences in average fish weight, survival rate, SGR and FCR among treatment groups (P>0.05). Consequently, effect of tetra and laurel on growth performance and feed efficiency of rainbow trout were determined to be negligible.
