Özet
Business environment’s structure which is evolving, developing and being complicated more, day by day, leads employees to undertake various roles. While employees striving to perceive the requirements of roles which they’ve undertaken, occasionally, priorities of these roles could be confused. The belief of individual’s about his/her self-sufficiency will acquire strength when he/she recognizes the requirements of his/her roles, accurately and in case of compatibility to the process of implementing requirements of roles. In this manner, this study essentially investigates the affects of role ambiguity and role conflict on employees’ perceptions of their self-sufficiency. The findings of this study indicate role ambiguity and role conflict have negative and significant affect on the perceptions of employees’ self-sufficiency. Measures taken by managers to overcome role ambiguity and role conflict can strengthen the perceptions of employees’ self-sufficiency and it can be said that win-win aproach in the light of Social Exchange Teory, will fall into place in terms of organization–employee.
